Zola Faye Messer

Zola Faye Messer age 73 of Maryville, passed away peacefully Friday, December 18, 2009 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie Frances & Gladys Mae Joines; brother, Johnnie Clint Joines, sister, AnnaVer Haynes; husband, James Walter Messer. Survivors include her daughter, Glenda Faye Messer and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews & cousins. Also close family & friends, Marlene “Cookie�? Richardson, Amber & Hailee Hardwick, Makinzee Cleveland, Nicole & Evan Riden and Donna & Ricky Hutsell. Over the years she was known as Mammaw or Miss Faye to many children whom loved her dearly. Funeral service 7:00 pm Monday, December 21, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel. The family & friends will assemble at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service for a procession to Grandview Cemetery for interment at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ORNL Federal Credit Union c/o Glenda Faye Messer to help with the final expenses.
