Zain Joseph Blaney

Zain Joseph Blaney, age 3, of Maryville, was granted his angel wings Thursday, October 4, 2007, following an accident. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Zain had touched in tremendous ways throughout his short, yet very memorable life. Zain's life would seem too short to many, but for those who were touched by him, understood that the quality of life is greater than the quantity of time in which you live it. His gentle smile and big blue eyes could melt the hearts of those around him. With Zain's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss him everyday, especially his amazing personality. We thank GOD for him and he will always remain forever in our hearts. Through his teachings about life, we were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be his parents. We are so thankful Zain's cousin Sierra will hold dear the memory of Zain's gentle spirit. Zain leaves behind many wonderful family members and friends that provided love and support that enhanced his quality of life. Zain is survived by his loving parents, Matthew Dale Blaney & Ashley Blaney; cousin, Sierra Low; paternal great grandma, Jean Elizabeth Blaney; great grandfather, James Donald Blaney (deceased); paternal great grandparents, Marjorie Imogene Shepard and Hugh Miller Shepard, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Papaw Michael Dale Blaney and Nana Durienda Gayle Blaney; aunte, Dianna Marie Blaney; maternal great grandma, Shirley Beard and great grandma, Janet Fleatcher; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Julia Low; uncles Geoff Low and Adam Low. The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2007 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2921 Sevierville Road, in Maryville with the Pastor Rob Clayton officiating. The interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2007 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Maryville.
