Wilma Jean (Tipton) Teffeteller of Maryville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 27, 2014. While we rejoice that she is enjoying heaven with her beloved husband Ken, she will be deeply missed by her son Kenne and wife Elmeria, daughter Kathy Puckett and husband Joel, and her precious granddaughter, Kendra Forsythe and husband Matt, sister Juanita Myers, brother J.T. (Shirley) Tipton, brothers-in-law Randall (Edna) Teffeteller and Glenn Teffeteller, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her daughter Anita, parents Royal and Mayme Tipton, brothers Arnold Tipton and Charles Tipton, sisters Thelma Monaco, Evelyn Freeman, Helen King. Jean was a faithful member of Peck's Memorial UMC and served in many ways. She was a devoted wife and stay at home mother and created a wonderful home to raise her children. She adored her granddaughter Kendra and gladly welcomed Matt as a grandson when they married. She had a servant's heart for helping family and friends through their troubled times. We want to express special gratitude to Dr. Mark Green for his compassionate care for the past 25 years. We are so grateful for her special niece Denna Cox who lovingly cared for her and caregiver Amie Kunellis. Family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 29 at Smith's Funeral & Cremation Service with the Funeral Service to follow at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
