Wilma J. Ownby

Wilma Ownby age 71 of Walland passed away Monday, December 3, 2007 at UT Medical Center. She was a member of Fellowship Full Gospel Church in Maryville. She loved her church and was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time visiting people in the nursing homes and singing gospel music. Preceded in death by: Husband, Jr. Ownby; Brother, Ula Lynn; Sister, Mildred Mason; Parents, Clint & Nora Lynn. Survivors include: Sons, Rex Ownby & wife Frances and Mike Ownby all of Walland; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Brenda & David Moore and Carolyn & Rick Jennings all of Walland, Diane & Perry Cooper of NC; Eight Grandchildren; Four Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Mary Chambers Stroud of Maryville. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Gerald Lawson officiating.
