Wilma Lou Majors, age 83 of Townsend, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at home. She was a member of RIO Townsend. Wilma was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by: husband, James O’Neil Majors, Sr.; parents, Otha & Naomi Henry; sisters, Mable, Mildred, and Carol; brother, Brickey. Survivors include: sons & daughters-in-law, Jimmy & Shelia Majors, Robert & Jennifer Majors, and Kevin Majors; grandchildren, Brian (Asa), Chelsea, Austin, Abbey, Seaira; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Nova, Imrie, Asia, Alaina. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:30 PM, Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 6:30 PM with Rev. Ronnie Hepperly and Rev. Dale Buchanan officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 9:00 AM, Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church Cemetery.
