Wilma Ruth Chapman

Wilma Ruth Chapman age 79 of Maryville passed away Monday, February 09, 2009 at Asbury Place of Maryville. Through her special love of animals she owned and operated a kennel where she raised poodles. Ruth was also an avid gardener. Preceded in death by: Sons, Jimmy Rawlings and Ronnie Cummings; Husband, John W. Chapman; Sister, Margie Gredig. Survivors include: Sons, Dale Rawlings of Dandridge and Billy Rawlings of Maryville; Daughter & Son-in-law, Melinda & Danny Nunn of Louisville; Grandchildren, Rhonda Cummings, Wendy Cummings, Justin Cummings, Clint Rawlings, and Chelsea Nunn; 3 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Belle Webb of Walland; Special friends, Margie Nunn, Elizabeth Giles, Freddy Giles, Jody Giles; Special Niece, Sandra Burchfield. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Keith Pierce officiating. Family and friends will assemble 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment.
