Willie Frank Sistrunk

Willie Frank Sistrunk died Monday, November 21, 2016 at his home. He was 80. Mr. Sistrunk was originally from West Point, MS, where he served as a Police Officer for 28 years from which he retired as a sergeant. He was also an Army Veteran. Mr. Sistrunk was a member of the Madison Avenue Baptist Church. He liked to fish. He was a wonderful father and grandfather but most of all devoted to both. He is preceded in death by: parents, Fred Sistrunk and Inez Wallace; brother, Grandville Sistrunk; sisters, Jean Nazary and Dean Langston. He is survived by: wife of 54 years, Joyce Sue Sistrunk; daughter, Lisa Morton; son, David Sistrunk; Grandsons, Daniel Sistrunk, Jonathan Morton, and Cameron Morton; one great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Steve Hicks officiating.
