Willie Kate McDonald

Willie Kate Jones McDonald, age 93 of Greenback passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the family home with loving caretakers Michael & Tammie Raines & daughters, Megan and Mandy, at her bedside. She was born November 11, 1918 in Loudon County, the daughter of the late Mason & Maude McNabb Jones. Willie Kate graduated from Greenback High School in 1936 and was a member of Baker's Creek Presbyterian Church where she was active as long as health permitted. Preceded in death by: Husband, Ira Thomas McDonald; Brother, John Alexander Jones. Special thanks to R.E. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 18, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Pastor Ron Sabo officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 12:15 PM, Friday, May 18, 2012 at Axley's Chapel Cemetery in Loudon County.
