Willie E. McCaulley

March 14, 1920 — March 30, 2015

Willie E. McCaulley age 95 of Blount County passed away March 30, 2015 at her home where she lovingly raised nine children. Most of her life was spent at home devoted to her family. At age 50 she went to work at Jim Robbins Seatbelt Co. in Knoxville and was employed for 10 years. She loved working in her home and enjoyed flowers of all kinds. She will be sadly missed by her children and family for her kind, gentle and caring ways. Preceded in death by: Husband, Johnnie E. McCaulley; Parents, Bob & Becky Garner; Brothers, Raymond and J.R. Garner; Sisters, Vertie White and Opal (Tootsie) Tipton. Survivors include: Sons & Daughters-in-law, James (Sonny) and Judy McCaulley and Johnny & Onita McCaulley of Maryville; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Ruth Millsaps of Townsend, Rebecca Williams, Sherry McCaulley and Kim Hatcher, Patricia & Ronnie Abbott of Maryville, Linda & Mick Humphrey and Colette & Robin Abbott of Walland; Brother & Sister-in-law, Tommy & Patsy Garner; Sisters & Brother-in-law, Janie Martin & Betty (Bootsie) & Max Potter. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. A heartfelt thanks to all who stopped by with words of encouragement and prayers to lift our spirits at this difficult time. Thanks to Rev. George Macht for all his visits and comforting prayers, and for those caring people who sat with us through some long days and nights. A very warm and special thanks to granddaughters Gina Miller and Tammy Tipton. You were surely a god sent gift for us at this time and we love you for it. Thanks also to a warm and loving friend and sister-in-law Grace Garner. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 3:00 PM, Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. George Macht officiating.
