Willie Bailey

Willie Bailey (1940-2018) passed on to Heaven Sunday, April 29, 2018 from the home of his son and family. Willie was born and raised in Pennington Gap, VA where he spent his entire life. He worked in construction and enjoyed having coffee with his buddies at Hardee’s each morning. He also enjoyed all sports but especially those his grandchildren participated in. Preceded in death by: Parents, Theodore and Edna Bailey; Sisters, Sue Perdue, Alice Blevins, and Carolyn Bailey; Brother, Roger Bailey. Willie is survived by: Son, Tony Bailey and wife Joey; Grandchildren, Dalton & Skye Bailey; Sister, MaryAnn Kirk & husband Clayel; Brothers, Wayne Bailey and James Bailey; many loved nieces and nephews. The family wished to thank Blount Memorial Hospice. Also, a special thank you to caregivers: Mary Allmon, Shirley Bales, and Sherry Hopkins. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date in Virginia.
