William Perry Waters, Jr.

William P. Waters Jr. age 87, a long-time member of Maryville First Baptist Church, went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2014. He was a WWII Veteran and served in Germany. William retired from Alcatel-Lucent with 34 years of service. Preceded in death by: Father & Mother, William Perry Waters & Lola James Waters; Brothers, Horace Vineyard Waters, Alvin Waters, and Bobby Waters; and Sister-in-law, Marie Waters. He leaves his wife of 59 years, Marie Ricketts Waters; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Jeff & Nicole Waters and Mike & Kathy Waters; Grandaughters, Michelle Waters, Kaitlyn Waters, and Hannah Waters; Sister & Brother-in-law, Carol & Charlie Byerley; Sisters-in-law, Judy Waters and Lula Anderson Waters and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and good friends. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Monday, June 30, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Grandview Cemetery.
