William G. “WG�? Pierce, Jr. age 64 of Maryville went to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 3, 2011 with his family by his side at home. He served in the National Guard for six years. He was a retired truck driver of 40 years. He had a life long passion for antique John Deere Tractors. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. Preceded in death by: Father, William G. Pierce Sr.; Sister, Grace Pierce Bing both of Collierville, TN. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 36 years, Teresa A. Pierce of Maryville; Son & Daughter-in-law, William Thomas & Whitney Pierce; Granddaughter, Olivia Pierce all of Roanoke, VA; Daughter and Son-in-law, Amanda & Jacob Hoagland; Grandson, Caden Hoagland all of Maryville; Mother, Evelyn Pierce of Memphis, TN; Sister, Nezelle Pierce Owens of Cordova, TN; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Tom & Juanita Allen of Moscow, TN. He also leaves behind, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. The family would like to express their gratefulness to the people of Hospice and for everyone’s encouraging words, kind thoughts, and prayers. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM with CM Titlow officiating.
