William Robert Parker age 81 of Maryville, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was born in Harlan County, KY. Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and later retired as an explosives technician who owned and operated Southeastern Explosives. Bill was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, sporting clays and golf. His hunting and fishing trips took him throughout the upper Midwest and Canada. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe & Christie Parker. Survivors include his daughters & sons-in-law, Ann & Chris Frary of Alcoa, Kim & Gary Meade of Paintsville, KY; grandchildren, Kyle Meade & wife, Aleisha and Wes Frary; great-grandchildren, Kylie Marie & Kameron Matthew Meade; sister & brother-in-law, Ramona & David Stanton of Corbin, KY; niece, Kelly Kincheloe of Huntington Beach, CA.
