William Anderson Morgan

William A. “Bill” Morgan age 91 of Walland passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the 101st Airborne, Word War II Veteran, and 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg. Bill was a retired carpenter and a member of East Walland Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Sons, Marion Curtis “Billy” Morgan & David Ray Morgan; Mother, Dicie Morgan; Father, Marion Morgan; Brothers, Junior Morgan and Roy Morgan; Sister, Decsray Morgan Fehmie. Survivors include: Wife, Bonnie Morgan; Son, Bobby Lee Morgan; Daughter, Barbara Morgan Bryant; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; Daughters-in-law, Anna Kay Abbott Morgan and Alice Morgan; several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Memorial service will be at 7:00 PM with Rev. John Turner officiating.
