William B. Mogg

William B. Mogg age 86 of Maryville, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving in WWII as a B-17 Tail Gunner. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in New York City and was a Washer/Dryer Repair Man for over 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Josephine "GiGi" Mogg; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kathy Mogg of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Christina and John Verdi of St. John's, FL; grandchildren, Nicholas Verdi, Ashley Mogg, Gianna Verdi, and Alexis Mogg; special dog, Delilah; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2009 in the Trinity Chapel with Military Honors. Memorial donations may be made to East Tennessee Children's Hospital, 1025 Children's Way, Knoxville, TN 37922.
