William Ray "Bill" Hamby

William Ray “Bill” Hamby, age 48 of Maryville, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 at U.T. Medical Center.  Bill was an avid Maryville High School Football fan and was a clothing manager for Target. Bill was a great guy all around and a man with no vices. He was a loving and devoted son, nephew, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew him.  He was the son of the late Janet Hamby and was preceded in death by his aunt, Margaret Ford.  Survived by his Father, Billy Ray Hamby of Maryville; Aunts and Uncles, Tom and Adele Hamby of Hollywood, FL, Brenda Hamby of Shannon, MS, Nancy Ferguson of Ecru, MS, Ginny Jambor of New Burn, NC, Ralph Holloway, Ray Holloway, Jerry Holloway of Knoxville, Dorothy Davis, Charlie Holloway, and Elaine Gray, all of Maryville.  The family will receive friends on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 3:00 until 4:30pm in the Smith Trinity Chapel with a Celebration of Bill’s life to follow at 4:30pm with Rev.
