William Robert Grant

Grant, William R. age 67 of Louisville passed away Sunday October 15, 2006 at the family home. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired from Alcoa and was a member of the 25 year club. On September 15, 2006 he was inducted into the Massena High School(New York) Hall of Fame for the 1956-1957 football team. Preceded in death by; Parents, William and Eva Grant, son, Robert Grant, Brothers, Kenneth and Lawrence, Sisters, Doris, Althea, Freida, and Alice. Survivors include: wife of 47 years, Sylvia Grant, Son and daughter-in-law, William and Cynthia Grant of Clinton, Daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Ed Fregoe of Greenback, Grandchildren, Megan and Grant Fregoe, Taylor and Hannah Grant, special grandchildren, Caleb, Christopher, Lisa, Chelsea, and Ethan. Sister, Mary Beeson of Massena, New York. Special Thank You to Terri Stewart and Robin Hall. Funeral service will be at 7:00 pm. Thursday, October 19, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Father Alex Waraksa officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 pm. Friday, October 20, 2006 at Grandview Cemetery.
