William Arnold Fuller, age 91 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Asbury Place of Maryville. Arnold attended Wildwood Baptist Church and was very active officiating local sports during the sixties. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving 2 years in the South Pacific and the last ten months with the 518th AAA Gun Battalion. He received two bronze stars and was honorably discharged at Camp Chaffee, Arkansas on October 12, 1945. Arnold was employed at ALCOA from 1945 until June of 1991 and was a member of the 25 Year Club. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas Fuller and Hazel Gaynell Long Fuller; Daughters, Kim Giles and Mickey Fuller; Son, Steve Fuller and wife, Vina; Survived by special friend, Anne Thompson; former wife, June Fuller; Son-in-law, James Giles and wife, Dorothy; Grandchildren, Wendy Singletary, and Kelby and wife Stacie Giles; Great Grandchildren, Brett Fuller, Molly Fuller, Gracie Giles, Gentry Giles, Jaxson Singletary, and Kymber Singletary. A Celebration of Arnold’s Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in the Smith East Hall with Rev. Craig Carlson officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Magnolia Cemetery for the Interment.
