Rev. William “Arthur�? Effler age 91 of Maryville passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Colonial Hills Healthcare Center. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. after 40+ years and was a member of their 25-Year Club. He was a minister for many of the small churches in East Tennessee. Preceded in death by: Daughter, Princella Effler; Grandson, Douglas Myers. Survivors include: Wife, Bessie Mae Effler; Daughters, Geneva Myers & husband Harry of Fort Myers, FL, Patricia Wolfe & husband James of Pigeon Forge, TN, Doris Gardner & husband Charlie of Louisville, TN, Willa Effler of St. Petersburg, FL, Naomi Hughes & husband Jim of Gallatin, TN, and Sharlene Warren of Johnson City, TN; Son, James Timothy Effler of Gallatin, TN; 14 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Floyd Effler of Walland, TN. The family would like to thank Morningview Village and Colonial Hills Nursing Home for their special care. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Terry Russell officiating.
