William A. Crisp

William A. "Bill" Crisp, age 75 of Friendsville, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Bill was an active member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church and was a caring and giving person who liked people. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Crisp and Martha Alice Crisp West. Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Carolyn Crisp; Daughter and Son-in-law, Staci and Andy Lawhorn; Grandchildren, Ty Hamilton Lawhorn and Andi Love Lawhorn; Brother and Sister-in-law, Wayne and Brenda Crisp; Nieces, Terri Hamil, Lynda Long, Vicky Gray, and Kellie Mak; many great nieces and nephews, and special friend, Becca Daniels. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Mark Green and the staff of Blount Memorial ICU as well as to all our friends for the cards, visits, and prayers. Bill's request was to be cremated. A Celebration of Bill's Life will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2014, Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Ron Fisher officiating. Inurnment will be Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Middlesettlements Church Cemetery.
