William “Shawn” Braden, age 57, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022, surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Laura “Beth” Braden, his children, Nicholas, Laura, and Amanda Braden, his mother and step-father, Edwina “Winnie” and Frank Neace, his brother Stanley Neace and his very beloved grandchildren, Cameron Jones and Lyric Huffstetler. Shawn was preceded in death by his loving grandparents Beatrice “Nina” and Ed “Pop” Braden. His Aunt Sherry Millsaps and Uncle Daryl Payne. Also, his granddaughter Laura “Chevy” Jones, who passed away before he had the chance to meet and love. Shawn was born in Chicago, IL but raised and lived his whole life in Maryville, TN. He graduated from William Blount High School in 1984. Shawn was a very loved and valued employee of Twin City Honda, where he worked for many years and had many great friends throughout all of the dealerships. Throughout his life, Shawn was a very hardworking, good-hearted, family man. He was known by many as the one to “fix all things” and a true “jack of all trades”. But his most important role was being a father and grandfather. There are not enough words to truly express how amazing and loving he was. His laugh and goofiness would light up any room. Shawn will be truly missed by many. “Live Long, and Prosper” - Spock, Star Trek.
