William “Bill” Neubert, Sr., age 86 of Maryville, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Foothills Transitional Care. Bill was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. He was part-owner of M.N.R. Auto Parts Store. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Lucy (Lou) Neubert; parents, Amos and Sarah Neubert; sister, Ann (Jim) Vest; brothers, Dan (Wilma) Neubert, A.L. (Mary) Neubert. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, William “Bill” Neubert, Jr. (Rita); daughter, Sherry Reagan; grandchildren, Dusty Reagan (Mary Beth), Holly Reagan, Stephanie Neubert, Stephanie Lawson; great-grandchildren, Liam Reagan, Teddy Reagan; sister-in-law, Mildred DeArmond (Herb); special nephew, Al Neubert (Ava); special family friends, Mary Newman, Debbie Teffeteller, Kelly Teffeteller, Lori Bowser, and Jen Wood. Bill received many honors throughout his travels in the Masonic Lodge. He was Initiated and Entered Apprentice on July 11, 1967. He served as Worshipful Master of New Providence Lodge N. 128 in 1976. He unselfishly served the lodge and appendant bodies for 56 years. He was a 14th Degree York Rite Mason, and 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. The Great Honor of “Knights of the York Cross Honor” (KYCH), which is an Honor Group of York Rite Masons dedicated to serving the Masonic Fraternity, as a Labor of Love, was bestowed upon him. Bill served as Secretary of New Providence Lodge No 128 from 1997 thru 2006, and again from 2010 thru 2012. He also served as secretary of the Maryville Chapter and Pride Council of the York Rite for several years. Family and friends will assemble at 3:00 PM for a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Grandview Pavilion with Rev. Ronnie Longmire officiating.
