Wiley Houston Whitehead

Wiley Houston Whitehead, son of Doyle W. & Mable Compton Whitehead born August 26, 1953, departed this life May 31, 2015. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Keeble Chapel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Grandparents, William Houston & Blanche Whitehead, Wiley D. & Rosa Mable Compton; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Survivors include: Brother, Doyle Lee (Ginger) Whitehead; Sister, Judy Whitehead Parris (Loren Parris); four nieces, Lori Brooks, Nikki, McKinnis, Jill Callaway, and Joni Taylor; five great nephews, Colton, Ian, Logan & Collin Callaway & Haden McKinnis; five great nieces, Clara McKinnis, Mallory, Audrey & Caitlee Taylor, and Hailey King; one very special cousin, David Ray Compton; two aunts, Betty Blair Compton and Elvira Wilson; lots of cousins. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Tim Martin officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery.
