Wilbur C. Mac Mcmahan

McMahan, Wilbur C. Mac Age 89, died June 17, 2010. Survived by wife, Velma, of 67 years and four sons, Michael (Barbara), Brian, Paul (Becky), and Mark; brother Charles (Kathleen); and grandchildren Janette, Shannon, David, and Cory. He was member of Lincoya Hills Baptist Church and the pride of the Brotherly Love Sunday School Class. During WWII he served with the Army Air Force in Europe. He was a devoted Christian and went on several missionary trips. Mac worked for Appalachian Power Company in southern West Virginia for his entire professional career as an electrical engineer and manager. Mac retired to Nashville to help provide care for Velma’s mother and sister. The funeral will be Monday, June 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Townsend, Tennessee; Rev. Joe L. Evans presiding.
