Wendell Roger Carpenter

Wendell Roger Carpenter age 69 of Madisonville, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010. He was a member of Carpenter’s Campground United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee. He retired from insurance accounting in 2006. Preceded in death by: Parents, Milton & Almeta Carpenter; Sister & Brother-in-law, Jean & Fadrew Hutson; Father-in-law, Verlin Noe. Survivors include: Wife, Kay Carpenter; Son, Roger (Alison) Carpenter; Daughters, Jennifer (Rick) Taylor and Beth Carpenter; Sister, Jo (Tim) Bailes; Grandchildren, Alex & Ashley Olive, Ada, Carolyn, and Clare Carpenter; Step Grandchildren, Erin (John) Scharff, Amber & Christian Taylor; Great-Grandchildren, Jackson Taylor and Kylee Scharff; Mother-in-law, Nellie Noe; Brother-in-law, Ron (Wilma) Noe; Sisters-in-law, Judy (Rex) Caughron and Betty Kirkland. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Ken Tucker and Rev. Larry Best officiating.
