Wayne K. Brantley

Wayne K. Brantley age 92 of Maryville, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the family home. He was a lifetime Rotary Club member, devoted husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth & Sarah Brantley; sister, Gniece Brantley; brother, Delona Brantley. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Mamie Brantley; daughter & son-in-law, Melba & Mel Harmon; daughter, Shirley K. Brantley; granddaughters, Alicia Harmon Clark & husband, Aaron, Natalie Harmon McAmis & husband, Brad; five great-grandchildren, Ridge, Callin, Sayler Clark, Laine & Luke McAmis; sister & brother-in-law, Barbara Brantley Lamb & Tom. A special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice. Memorial donations may be made to Third Street Baptist Church and East TN Children’s Hospital. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 11:00am Friday, December 16, 2016 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Mr. Tom Lamb officiating.
