Wanda Sue Dixon Scarbrough

Wanda Sue Dixon Scarbrough, age 86 of Seymour, TN, died in her home Wednesday, September 27, 2023.  She passed away peacefully and was surrounded by friends and family in the days preceding her death. Wanda was born in 1937 to parents Veryl Valentine Dixon and Hulet Dixon. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gerald Dixon. Wanda is survived by her husband, Elmer Scarbrough; 3 children, Pamela Charles, Gerry Scarbrough and Susan Pittman; 5 grandchildren, April McClellan, Adam Patterson, Lori Rose, Scott Pittman, Derrick Pittman; 10 great grandchildren, Forest, Aubri, Eli, Lilly, Reagan, Ayda, Tiana, Cambell, Wyatt, Mason. Wanda graduated from Porter High School in 1955.  She enjoyed a career in sales and secretarial work. She enjoyed art and quilt making. A gathering of friends and family, in remembrance of Wanda, will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Eastside church of Christ, 2543 Sevierville Rd, Maryville, TN.
