Wanda "Sue" Bingham

Sue “Susie” Bingham, age 84, of Maryville, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. She was born on October 27, 1940, to Robert and Nellie (Roberts) Sharp in Maryville, TN. She graduated from Evertt High School then began her career at Blount Memorial Hospital. Sue was an avid quilter, seamstress, cross stitcher, stain glass maker, and enjoyed genealogy. Sue retired from UT Medical Center in Human Resources and watched UT Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Softball and Baseball. Sue was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Arna Bingham; parents, Robert and Nellie Sharp; brothers, Joe, Grant, and Jack Sharp; special friend Kenneth Belcher. Sue is survived by daughter Rhonda (Terry) Wittmer and granddaughter Summer (Micah) Stiffler; son Brandon Herriage; brother Mack (Betty) Sharp, and many nieces and nephews. The family will host a celebration of life at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 12th at Smithview Pavilion. Donations can be made to the cemetery fund at Eleazar United Methodist Church, Tellico Plains.
