Walter B. Stiles

Walter B. Stiles of Maryville, TN, formerly of Munster, IN passed away May 18, 2013. Walter was born in Wadsworth, OH to Charles and Eloise Stiles on March 26, 1923. Retired from Inland Steel with 35 years of service, Walter moved to TN 14 years ago with his wife Helen. Upon his arrival to TN, Walter and Helen enjoyed meeting many new friends. Both were past Blount Memorial Hospital Volunteers, and current members of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Alcoa, TN. Preceded in death by his son Thomas Stiles of Indianapolis, IN. and brother Charles Stiles of Phoenix, AZ. Walter is survived by his wife of 65 years Helen (Sullivan) Stiles, son Jim and wife Karen and grandchild Maggie Stiles. Friends are invited to celebrate Walter's life with a mass on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Alcoa, TN with a luncheon immediately following mass. Honoring Walter's long time wish the family carried out his wish and donated his body to science.
