Phillips, Walter Conrad (Sambo) age 72 of Maryville, passed away Monday, February 19, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Mae Phillips; brother, Buster Phillips and sister, Dorothy (Sug) Milan. Survivors include devoted wife, Nancy Phillips; daughter, Renee Tipton; daughters & sons-in-law, Gail & Mike Davis, Bridgett & Kelly Dallas all of Cleveland; step-children & spouses, Brenda Baker, Linda & Marty Sheehan, Eugene & Angie Icenhower all of Maryville; grandchildren, Amanda, Chrissy & Jeremiah all of Cleveland; great-grandson, Logan of Cleveland; step-grandchildren, Josiah Baker, Matthew, Kourtney & Jamie Sheehan, Andy, Makayla & Tyler Icenhower all of Maryville; sister, Joyce Denton of Maryville; sisters & brothers-in-law, Carrie & Gomez McMillan of NC, Eula Freeman & special friend, George of Newport; brothers & sisters-in-law, Paul & Flo of Clinton, Phillip & Mildred, Clarence & Genella of Maryville, John & Carrie of Newport; several nieces & nephews; sisters-in-law, Genelle Laney of Maryville, Aileen Carver of Madisonville.
