Wallace D. Boring

Wallace D. Boring age 88 of Maryville passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 at his home. He was a Retired Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Broadway Baptist Church. Wallace was a member of the Lions Club (North Maryville), Air Force Association, Retired Officers Association, 8th AF Historical Society, V.F.W., and the 306th Bomb Group Association. He was a Retired Lt. Col. From the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by: Parents, Wallace & Effie Boring; Brothers, Thomas, John, & Neil Boring; Daughter, Gayle Ann Boring. Survivors include: Wife of 60 years, Betty Louise Boring; Son, William Boring Sr. & wife Suzann; daughter, Sharon Collins; daughter & son-in-law, Janis & Wayne Boring; grandchildren, Darrill & April Collins, Amanda & James Andrews, Laura Collins, William Jr. & Renee Boring, James Boring & Jay & Angie Crain; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie & Shannon Collins, Chad Andrews, Jacob, Taylor & Nicholas Boring, Brandon, Cody & Kelsey Crain; Sister, Ruth Conley of Jonesborough; several nieces; special friends, Michelle Hatcher & Laura Schlittler. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2007, Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2007, Smith Trinity Chapel with Dr. Bob Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
