W.D. “Sam” Elmore, 71 of Louisville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in Louisville, Tennessee. He was born November 27, 1946 to Murray Wilson Elmore and Allene Whitten Elmore in Cleveland, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by: Parents; Brother, Gary Wilson Elmore Sr. He is survived by: Wife, Shelley Elmore; Sons, Sean (Lyndie) Strahan of Jacksonville, FL and Matthew Elmore of Louisville, TN; Granddaughter, Taylor Strahan of Jacksonville, FL; Special Nephew, Gary “J.R.” Elmore, Jr. of Rock Springs, WY; Niece, Ellawyn J. Baker of Houston, TX. Sam leaves behind many friends and family that will miss him greatly. In lieu of flowers the family request donations can be made to your local Heart Association in his name.
