Virginia Mae Williams

Virginia Mae Williams, age 72, of Townsend, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 03, 2014 at the family home with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wylie and Aubrey Miller. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Robyn Snapp; daughter, Teresa Shope; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Tony Ferguson; grandchildren, Bill and Stephanie Fout, Chevy Ferguson, Lauren Garner, and two great-grandsons. The family would like to give special thanks to the caregivers with Blount Memorial Hospice for their help, and special friends and family for their thoughts and prayers. A celebration of Virginia's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Clifton Herron and Rev. Ken Abbott officiating. Interment will be held the following day at 11:00 a.m. in the Tuckaleechee Methodist Church Cemetery.
