Virginia E. Garmon Williams, 83 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015. Virginia was a homemaker and beloved wife of the late Delbart M. Williams for 62 years. Also preceded in death by: Parents, Edwin & Delcia (Scott) Garmon; Father & Mother-in-law, Willard & Reva (McKinley) Williams; Three Sons and a Daughter. Survivors who loved her so very much are: Daughter, Donna (Williams) Jackson; Daughter & Son-in-law, Melissa (Williams) & Rev. Craig Neubert; Grandchildren, Scott & Heidi (Stubelt) Groover; Jeff & Amanda (McHone) Groover, Rebecca (Groover) & Shane Gunter, Megan Neubert, Lily Neubert, Ashley Neubert; Great-Grandchildren, Michael Groover, Emily Groover, Gabriel Groover, Andie Gunter, and Anthony Gunter; Sister, Nelda (Garmon) Armstrong; Sister-in-law, Pam (Williams) Missel; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for all the care given to Virginia by the Nursing Staff of 5 East and the Palliative Care Team of Blount Memorial Hospital and to Dr. John Ingram, Dr. Thomas Kubota, and Dr. Mahdi Budayr. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Neubert and Rev. Chris Edmonds officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 16, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery.
