Virginia Agee Hatcher, age 87, went to her heavenly home on August 2, 2017. She was affectionately known as Mama Jen to many in the community. Mama Jen was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader, she loved needlework and quilting. Her grandsons always believed she had a pipe line to God as she always seemed to know what they had been into. Preceding her in death was her husband of 54 years, Cecil C. Hatcher. Parents, Hubert M. Agee and Susie Sunbeam Ashley Agee, Brothers Carl (Kathleen), Waymon (Isophene) and Fred (Emma) Agee. She is survived by her children: Dinah (Gary) Rowland, Margaretta (Leon) Davis, Michael (Karen) Hatcher, Dennis (Cheryl) Hatcher and Judith Broyles. Grand Children: Mark (Jenifer) Rowland, Keith (Heather) Rowland, Kip (Jan) Davis, Dale (Ashley) Davis, Clay Davis, Kelsey (Angela) Hatcher, Jessie (Sasha) Kirpichenkova, Matt (Liz) Hatcher and Jonathan (Ada) Hatcher. Great Grandchildren: Nathaniel Slawson, Eli, Emma and Anderson Rowland, Lane, Caroline, Cooper and Kase Davis, Lucie, Pearly and Emmet Hatcher. She had numerous beloved nieces and nephews as well. The family will receive friends at Smith Trinity Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Saturday August 5th. Funeral service immediately following. Family and friends will assemble for entombment at 1:00 PM, Sunday, August 6th at Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum.
