Virginia Bowers

Virginia Bowers, age 86 of Maryville, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2021. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. Virginia retired from the State of Tennessee. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to sew, garden, and was an avid Lady Vols fan. Preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Bowers; parents, Horace and Emma Roberson and siblings. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Rickey Chambers; grandchildren, Chad and Jennifer Kirkland, Ben and Sarah Kirkland, Holley and Tony Childress; great-grandchildren, Alivia Lynn, Ashlynn, Sophie; grand-dog, Wade; sister, Maxine Dunn all of Maryville; brother-in-law, Charles Overby of Chattanooga.
