Virgil Edgar Long III "Ted", age 42 of Knoxville, TN passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Parkwest Hospital. Preceded in death by: Grandfather, Virgil Long Sr. Survivors include: Wife, Kristie Long; Children, Lauren Long, Teddy Long, Kristin Garza, and Ashlea Townson; Parents, Virgil & Gail (Kricket) Long and Cye & Gayle Miles; Brothers, Wally Miles and Nathan Long; Sisters, Jennifer Meyers and Amy Atchley; Grandparents, Stella & James Hurst, Helen Taylor, and Rosalee Long. Memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel.
