Vesta Jane Ausmus age 85 of Huntsville, TN, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Scott Co. She was a member of Brantley’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Son, James Calvin Mays; Mother, Flora Ausmus; Sister, Essie Mae Thomas. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Ron & Cathy Mays of Kansas City, Missouri; Daughter & Son-in-law, Patricia & Ronnie Prater of Oneida, TN; Six Grandchildren; Eleven Great-Grandchildren; Four Great-Great-Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 8, 2011 at Brantley’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lawrence Adams officiating.
