Verna Louise Myers

Louise Myers, age 81, of Townsend, Tennessee passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the family home. Louise was born September 3, 1930 in Rutledge, Tennessee to John B. and Nellie (Edmonds) Roberts and was married to Ralph H. Myers on May 28, 1959 in Rutledge. They resided in Washington, Illinois from 1959-1987 where she was a wonderful stay at home wife & mother. They retired and moved to Townsend, TN in 1988 where she has been a member of Everett Hills Baptist Church in Maryville, TN for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband and several siblings. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Larry R. and Jennifer Myers of Washington, IL; Wayne K. and Elizabeth Myers of Washington, IL, and Karen L. and Scott Breeden of Maryville, TN; Grandchildren, Kayla, Eric, and Ryan Breeden; Claire, John, and Victoria Myers; and Rachel McPherson. One Great-grandchild, Tanner Kalahar. The family would like to extend their sincerest thank-you and appreciation to the Staff and Physicians at Blount Memorial Home Health and Hospice for their kindness and care of their Mother in her final days. A Celebration of Louise's Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. R.M. Everett officiating. Interment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in Grandview Cemetery.
