Vern L. DeVore

Vern L. DeVore age 74 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. Vern served his country in the Vietnam War with the US Navy from 1960 to 1966. He dedicated 30 years to public service with The San Bernardino City Fire Department. Vern retired as a captain in 1999 and moved with his wife to Maryville, TN. Survivors include: Wife, Claire DeVore; Sons & Daughters-in-law, David & Toni Schultzman, Jared & Meliah Schultzman; Daughter & Son-in-law, Heidi & Tobey Unruh; Grandchildren, Bethany Schultzman, Gehrig Schultzman, Nick Unruh and Madelyn Unruh.
