Verlin C. Noe

Verlin C. Noe, age 91, of Maryville passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 at home. He worked at Alcoa for 37 years and is a member of the Alcoa 25 Year Club. He was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church and is the oldest deacon at Madison Avenue Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by: Parents, Edward and Dorothy Noe; Brothers, Robert, Lonnie, Edward Jr., and Lester Noe; Sisters, Beulah Noe, Bessie Beeler, and Lennie Sharp; Great Grandson, Joseph Bradley Waters. Survived by: Wife, Nellie Noe; Son & Daughter-in-law, Ronnie & Wilma Noe; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Kay & Wendell Carpenter, Judy & Rex Caughron, and Betty Sanders Kirkland; Sisters, Mattie Stone and Pearl Welch; Grandchildren, Amy & husband Matthew, Rebecca and husband Floyd, Rexanne and husband Randal, Jodi, Jennifer and husband Rick, Roger and wife Alison, Beth, Ronda and husband Gregory, Tracey, Keith, Steven and wife Meigan, and Alisha; Step Grandchildren, Scott and wife Lisa, Wendy and husband Joel, Chris and wife Meggan; Great-Grandchildren; Alex, Ashley, Ada, Carolyn, Clare, C.J., Payton, Bailey, Macy, Reese, Micah, Conner, Elana, Tanner, Morgan, Griffin, Austin, Logan, Ethan, Olivia, and Hayden; Step Great-Grandchildren, Samuel, Shepherd, Lottie, Judith, Kameron, Rebekah, Marshall, Fisher, Harrison, Erin, Amber, and Christian; Step-Great-Great-Grandchildren, J.W. and Kylie. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Smith West Chapel with funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike McNutt, Rev. Gary Donahue, and Rev.
