Brown, Velma “Frances�? age 90 of Maryville passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jock and Johnnie Scott Bryant; brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Faye Bryant; sister-in-law, Edna Brown; and brother-in-law, Rufus “J.R.�? Frank. Survivors include; husband of 61 years, Paul Brown; children and spouses; Paulette and Ed Messer, Connie Frasure, Doug and Marcia Brown; grandchildren, Jason Frasure and wife Mitzi, Delaney and Jenica Brown; great granddaughter, Sophia Frasure; sister-in-law, Pearl Frank and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Hensley and Rev. Hicks officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 am Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service.
