Van Q. Myers

Van Q. Myers, age 83, of Maryville, TN, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016. He was a member of 1st United Methodist Church. He was on the board of directors for Rockford Manufacturing, a partner of Gillespie & Sherrod, CPA, President of the Blount County Chamber of Commerce (1984). Van enjoyed golf, Wii Bowling at Shannondale, and the Coffee Club at McDonalds. He was preceded by his wife Hilda Bauer Myers; parents, Lee & Angie Caylor Myers; brother, Wayne Pruitt Myers; sister, Jean Myers Clabough. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Joann Smith Davis Myers; son, Harold & Debbie Myers; step-sons, Steve & Buffy Davis, Michael & Chanda Davis; step-daughter, Donna & Dave Ierulli; grandchildren, Stephanie Ierulli Adams, Samantha Ierulli, Jack & Madison Davis, August & Harper Davis; great-grandchildren, Parker & Shepard Adams; brother Tom & Marlene Myers; sister, Marilyn & Bob Byrd & several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 12th from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Smith Trinity Chapel with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm.
