Una Faye Connatser age 77 of Maryville, TN, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital, Maryville. She was preceded in death by her parents, O.W. and Faye Rhyne Connatser; brothers, Alton & Fred Connatser. Survived by a daughter, Belinda Raines and granddaughter, Jana Raines Goulet both of Columbus, OH; great-granddaughter, Ayden Alexandra Goulet; sisters, Laura Anne Connatser, Orlando, FL, Rubye Connatser, Arlington, VA, Ola Mae Self, Maryville; brothers, Paul A. Connatser of Greenback, TN, Owen W. Connatser of Orlando, FL, Lemuel V. Connatser of Fayetteville, GA, Roy Connatser & Ernest Connatser both of Maryville. She graduated from Knoxville General Hospital School of Nursing in 1955. Her nursing career included work in Ohio, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee. She retired from UT Memorial Hospital after 30 years of service. She wishes to acknowledge and thank a special niece, Janet Faye Connatser Allem for all her patience, kindness and assistance over the years. The family would like to express their thanks & appreciation to the staff of 5-South at Blount Memorial Hospital for their kindness & concern. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service at 3:00 pm with Rev. Kenny Armstrong officiating. The family & friends will assemble at 3:45 pm Thursday at Grandview Mausoleum, Maryville for the entombment.
