Tyler Holden Guge, age 22, formerly of Maryville, Tennessee, and currently of San Francisco, California, passed away July 9, 2008. Tyler was a gifted artist and musician and enriched the lives of those around him with his beautiful talents and loving nature. He was preceded in death by his beloved GrandMary Ortman. He is survived by his parents, Brett & Gail Guge of Upland, California; sister and brother-in-law, Ashley and Jesse Rhoads of Pasadena, California; grandparents, Agee and Lillie Mae Guge of Maryville, Tennessee, and Dan and Joyce Pilkinton of Trussville, Alabama; uncle, Rod Guge of Kansas City, Missouri; aunt and uncle, Sharon and Roe Boone of Maryville, Tennessee; cousins, Stuart, Lee Anne, Lilly Beth and Harrison Boone of Nashville, Tennessee, and a host of other friends and family who cherished him for his friendship, talents, and kind and loving spirit. Services will be held Tuesday, July 15 at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service in Maryville with visitation from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. and memorial service at 7:00 with Reverend Beecher Whitehead officiating. A second memorial service will be held in Southern California the week of July 21st. Details are pending. Tyler lived for music and in his memory music will live on.
