Troy Donald Young

Troy Donald Young, age 54 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at UT Medical Center. He was a veteran of the US Army serving for 12 years in Korea and U.N. Peacekeeping missions in Haiti. Troy was currently employed with Standardaero with 15 years of service as a Jet-engine mechanic / Q.I. He loved spending time with his family, his dog, woodworking, cars and music. Troy was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Lynneanne Jacobs and step-mother, Denise Molzon; Survived by his wife and best friend of 34 years, Crystal Ann Young; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Karissa Young; daughter, Ashleigh Young; grandchildren, Zelda Young and Zachary Ward, all of Maryville; Father Donald and Karen Young of Grandville, MI; sisters, Erin Insley-Self of Maryville and Heidi Hollis of Bay City, MI; The family will receive friends on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 3:00 until 4:00 pm in the Smith Chapel with a Celebration of Troy’s life to follow at 4:00 pm with Brian Handley officiating.
