Tracy Nuel Harmon 79 of Louisville passed away at home on October 5, 2016 surrounded by his children. He was born on July 16, 1937 to the late Ether and Wonedith (Smith) Harmon. In addition to his parents Tracy is preceded in death by his granddaughter Kennetha Cable; brothers Ishmael and Gaylon Harmon; special cousin Verne Cooper. Tracy is survived by his children Wanda (Stephen) Scharf, Teresa Cable, Howard Harmon, Jenny (Michael) Hopkins, Rhonda (Jay) Monday and Keith (Melissa) Harmon; grandchildren Zachary Scharf, Elizabeth (David) Rawlinson, Daniel (Rachel) Hopkins, Joseph (Chrissy) Hopkins, Dustin Parks, Brittany Monday, Kasey Monday, Leah (Brandon) Glenn, Katie Rochester, and Laci Harmon; great grandchildren Taylor Rawlinson, Grayson Hopkins, Garrett Hopkins and Aubree Parks; siblings Brady Holder, June (Larry) Colvin, Gail (Jerry) Deputy, Linda (Bob) Millsaps, Melvin (Lucy) Harmon, and Geneva (Jerry) Stinnett; ex-wife and mother of his six children, Anna Faye Tucker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends including especially Pat Holt, Linda McCarter, Gary Rogers, Glenn Wolfenbarger and all his friends from Levi’s. Tracy was employed by Levi Strauss for 38 years. He loved sports and was an avid basketball player in his younger years. He was a Tennessee sports fan and loved watching football. Tracy was a devoted father and best friend to his children and grandchildren. His favorite past time was playing rook with his family and friends. Tracy loved the Lord and accepted him as his savior. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Smith Trinity Chapel in Maryville, TN. The funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Andre Wright officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment on Tuesday October 11, 2016 at 11:00 am at Louisville Cemetery in Louisville, TN.
