Thomas Pitzer age 80 of Walland passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by: Parents; Nine Brothers and Sisters. Survivors include: Loving wife of 59 years, Betty M. Pitzer; Son, Marc A. Pitzer of Walland; Daughter, Saundra & Darrell Herron of Maryville; Grandchildren, James & Arista Blevins of Greenback and Shawn A. & Katlyn Mayo of Carthage, TN; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Robert & Sandy Pitzer of Indiana and Kenneth & Una Pitzer of Deerfield, MI; Sisters & Brother-in-law, Delores & Harry James of Virginia and Kathleen Welch of Morgantown, WV; many nieces, nephews and other family also survive.
