Thomas David Kirchoff Sr. age 83 of Maryville passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at the family home. He was a private pilot since he was 16 years old and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Thomas was a Ham radio operator, machinist, and wood carpenter. He retired after 37 years of service as a Chief Master Sergeant of the 228th Communications Squadron at McGhee Tyson Air Force Base. Preceded in death by: Parents, Harry & Irene Kirchoff; Survivors include: Wife of 58 years, Marilyn Kirchoff; Children & Spouses, Kathie & Sam Rowland, Deborah & Kent Everett, Thomas D. Kirchoff Jr., Mark Jon Kirchoff, and Kimberly & Ken Rochelle; Grandchildren, Jesse Rowland, Matthew & Meghann Everett, Thomas David Kirchoff III (Trey), Kalynn Kirchoff, Blake Kirchoff, Marilyn Kirchoff, Myra Kirchoff, Anne Rochelle, and Trecy Rochelle; Great-Granddaughter, Stella Edge; Brother & Sister-in-law, Mike & Margie Kirchoff; Sisters & Brother-in-law, Peggy & Harold Bergin, Pat Bumpus, and Mary Wilson; several nieces and nephews; Loyal Pet, Stormy. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 18, 2014 at Grandview Cemetery.
