Thomas Brownlow Jobe

Thomas Brownlow Jobe age 71 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, March 28 2017 at home. Thomas was born July 10, 1045. Preceded in death by: Mother and Father, Edna Brownlow Carringer and Claude Sylvan Jobe. He graduated from Everett High School and served in the U S Navy for 5 years in the late 1960's. Thomas loved working with children. He worked at the Boys Club in Norfolk, Virginia and Blount County until he retired. He enjoyed playing and teaching chess and worked hard at growing the Blount Count Chess Club. Survivors include: Brother, Terry Jobe of Lincoln County, TN; Nephews, Allen and Danny Jobe of Knoxville.
